ALESSA Records was founded in 2004.

After 25 years experience in the music business, Peter Guschelbauer decided to launch a label of top quality international jazz music.

The idea for the name “Alessa Records” came from the nick name of his small daughter, Alexandra, who was 18 months old at the time of the founding of the label.
